Welcome to jaycohardwoodfloors.com. This website is owned and operated by Cruz Quinene LLC DBA Jayco Hardwood Floors ("Jayco Hardwood Floors," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using this website, requesting an estimate, communicating with us, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, please do not use this website.
Services
Jayco Hardwood Floors provides hardwood flooring and related services, including but not limited to:
• Hardwood floor sanding and refinishing
• Hardwood floor installation
• Hardwood floor repairs
• Deck restoration and maintenance
• Hardwood floor cleaning, buffing, and recoating
• Related flooring consultation services
All services are subject to availability and may vary based on project requirements.
Estimates and Proposals
All estimates are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
Because material costs, taxes, product availability, and project requirements may change, estimates are subject to revision at any time prior to acceptance.
Jayco Hardwood Floors reserves the right to revise estimates due to:
• Material cost increases
• Changes in applicable taxes
• Customer-requested modifications
• Changes in scope of work
• Additional services requested by the customer
An estimate does not guarantee scheduling or availability until accepted by both parties.
Deposits
A deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total project amount is required before scheduling any project.
Scheduling dates are not reserved until the required deposit has been received.
Scheduling and Delays
While we strive to meet all scheduled dates, project schedules may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
Jayco Hardwood Floors reserves the right to reschedule projects due to:
• Weather conditions
• Material shortages or delays
• Illness
• Emergencies
• Equipment failure
• Prior project delays or overruns
• Other unforeseen circumstances
Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate schedule changes promptly.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
• Removing and replacing furniture unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Removing and replacing electronics and computer equipment.
• Removing and replacing artwork, mirrors, and wall decorations.
• Removing and replacing fragile or valuable items.
• Securing pets.
• Providing access to electrical power and utilities.
• Providing safe access to the work area.
Jayco Hardwood Floors is not responsible for damage to items left within the work area.
Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods include:
• Check
• ACH transfer
• Credit card
Checks are the preferred method of payment.
First payment/deposit is due no later than two (2) weeks prior to the service start date. Final payment is due within seven (7) calendar days of project completion.
Failure to make payment when due may result in collection efforts and recovery of reasonable collection costs where permitted by law.
Hardwood Flooring Disclaimer
Wood is a natural product. Variations in color, grain, texture, character markings, mineral streaks, and appearance are normal and are not considered defects.
Customers acknowledge and agree that:
• Wood products naturally vary in appearance.
• Stain samples are approximations only.
• Final floor appearance may differ from samples.
• Lighting conditions affect color perception.
• Existing flooring may contain hidden defects not visible before work begins.
• Repaired areas may not match existing flooring perfectly.
• New wood may differ in appearance from existing wood.
• Wood flooring naturally expands and contracts with seasonal environmental changes.
Refinishing and Finishing Conditions
Customers acknowledge that:
• Dust containment systems significantly reduce airborne dust but cannot eliminate dust completely.
• Odors may occur during sanding, staining, sealing, or finishing processes.
• Drying and curing times vary depending on temperature, humidity, airflow, and product selection.
• Furniture should not be moved onto newly finished floors until the recommended cure period has elapsed.
• Area rugs should not be placed on newly finished floors until the recommended cure period has elapsed.
• Failure to follow post-project care instructions may affect the appearance and performance of the floor.
Deck Restoration Disclaimer
Exterior wood decks are exposed to weather, sunlight, moisture, temperature changes, and normal wear.
Customers acknowledge that:
• Exterior wood oils and stains naturally weather over time.
• Maintenance intervals vary based on sun exposure, moisture levels, traffic, weather conditions, and site-specific conditions.
• No exterior coating or finish is permanent.
• Periodic maintenance is required to maintain appearance and protection.
Workmanship Warranty
Jayco Hardwood Floors warrants its workmanship for one (1) year from the date of project completion.
This warranty applies only to defects directly resulting from Jayco Hardwood Floors' workmanship.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
• Water intrusion
• Flooding
• Plumbing leaks
• Roof leaks
• Appliance leaks
• Excessive humidity
• Insufficient humidity
• Structural movement
• Pet damage
• Improper maintenance
• Improper cleaning products
• Improper cleaning methods
• Moving furniture
• Abuse or neglect
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by third parties
• Acts of nature
• Customer failure to follow maintenance instructions
The sole remedy under this warranty shall be repair or correction of workmanship-related defects as determined by Jayco Hardwood Floors.
Photographs
Jayco Hardwood Floors may photograph projects before, during, and after completion for documentation, quality control, training, marketing, advertising, website content, and social media purposes. Photographs will generally focus on the project and not on customers. Customers may opt out of marketing use of project photographs by providing written notice prior to project commencement.
Reviews and Testimonials
Customers who voluntarily provide reviews, testimonials, feedback, photographs, or endorsements grant Jayco Hardwood Floors permission to publish and use such content for marketing, advertising, website content, and promotional purposes.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the services giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cruz Quinene LLC DBA Jayco Hardwood Floors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from misuse of this website or violation of these Terms of Service.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms of Service, this website, or services provided by Jayco Hardwood Floors, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through mediation in Kitsap County, Washington.
If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may pursue available legal remedies in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Washington State.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Washington without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
Jayco Hardwood Floors reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Changes will become effective immediately upon posting to this website.
Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms of Service.
